汕头大学-加拿大卡尔加里大学CDIO交流项目

汕头大学与加拿大卡尔加里大学工学院交流项目从2009年开始以来，已成功举办了四期。本次项目名称为“Solving Global Problems: Innovation and Leadership in Renewable Energy”，由我校20名优秀学生与加拿大卡尔加里大学工学院选送学生共同开展。交流课程除了Innovation & Entrepreneurship in Renewable Energy 和 Renewable Energy Practicum两门课程，还安排了中国文化体验潮州行、广州企业及大学城参观以及南澳风电场参观等活动。

一个月的全英教学，一个月与加拿大学子的相处合作，对我而言，既是一次机遇，也是一次挑战。在学习中，他们敢于质疑；在项目中，他们严谨认真；在生活上， 他们激情洋溢。在项目中，我看到自己的优势，也发现自己的不足。在团队合作中，我们取长补短，相互进步；在课堂上，Dr Hugo的睿智及风趣的教学风格让我们享受着每一节课，享受着每一次知识的汲取。

不同国度的思想碰撞，不一样的学习经历，不仅锻炼了自己的学习能力和英语交流水平，也收获了一份份纯真持久的友谊。大洋彼岸的卡尔加里，我们会再次相聚！

在中加交流项目中，让我收获了珍贵的友谊，拓宽了自己的知识面，深刻地明白国外学生做实验与我们学校学生做实验的不同。在为期一个月的课程中，我 们与加拿大学生彼此打开心扉交流各自的观点，协调小组任务。虽然语言在课程中难免会有一些阻力，但是，在我们同学之间，我们用工程专业术语表述，在沟通上 我们又掌握了一项工程师应有的工程语言交流。通过对国外教学模式与国内教学模式的比较，我的学习方法也有了不一样的转变。

Although it has only been a few shorts weeks here at Shantou University, I have had my presuppositions transformed by the students here. These students have gone from mere acquaintances to close friends. I think all of the Calgary students would agree with me when I say that we will be very sad when it comes time to say goodbye. The program transcends the classroom where on daily basis students from both the Calgary and Shantou universities can be found participating in extra-curricular activities together. I can confidently say that this program will be an experience that I will never forget and I highly recommend it to any students who are considering the program.
