报告人简介：

Academy Professor Allan V. Kalueff is a neuroscientist and pharmacologist recognized globally for his contributions to translational neuroscience and biological psychiatry. He is best known for his pioneering work with zebra-fish (Danio rerio) as a model organism to study the molecular mechanisms of neuropsychiatric disorders (anxiety, depression, addiction) and drug discovery using AI-based protocols. Dr. Kalueff is a Professor of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Chair of the ZNRC, and a full member of the Academia Europaea. He has published over 400 papers with an H-index of 90 and over 32,000 citations. He is ranked among the Top 2% global scientists and named #1 neuroscientist in Russia.

摘要：

Zebra-fish (Danio rerio) are presently the second most used model organism in biomedical research. Possessing high genetic and physiological homology with mammals, zebra-fish are increasingly utilized to study how the brain controls complex behaviors. Cross-species studies help examine shared, evolutionarily conserved biological mechanisms of brain regulation of normal and pathological behavior. This talk will outline critical behavioral domains in zebra-fish, including stress-related/affective deficits. I will discuss recent data on several novel signaling pathways involved in such deficits. Overall, zebra-fish demonstrate a remarkable conservation of major CNS syndromes, suggesting them as a powerful model system for translational biomedicine. The lecture will also cover molecular biomarkers and the use of AI-driven behavioral recognition for innovating drug discovery.
