报告摘要:

I have been engaged in design, manufacturing and characterisation of advanced lightweight materials and structures for 10 years, with specific interests in cellular materials, auxetic materials and origami materials, and their-based composite structures for energy absorption and structural protection. Here, I will present our research progress in this regard in the group, with a particular focus on origami materials and structures against impact loading. Then, several examples of projects collaborated with academic and industry partners will be shared.

个人简介：

Jianjun Zhang博士于2011年本科毕业于太原理工大学工程力学专业，于2016年获得固体力学博士（太原理工大学），并于2019年获得机械工程博士（Swinburne University of Technology，Australia）。毕业后在Swinburne University of Technology从事博士后研究及牛津大学访问学者。

张建军博士现在Western Sydney University先进制造中心工作，澳大利亚优青（2022），主要研究方向为轻质材料和结构的冲击动力学行为，已发表期刊文章40余篇，谷歌学术引用2500次（H index=25），自2023年连续入选Stanford University’s Top 2% of Scientists。任Defence Technology等期刊青年编委和编委，及领域内15个国际杂志审稿人。曾任co-chair of IAPS-AUS workshop (2024)、vice-chair of 8OSME (2024)、以及其他五个国际会议分会主席。
