Notice on the Information Session and Application for Summer 2026 Programs at Prestigious Overseas Universities including University College London (UK) and University of British Columbia (Canada)

To further implement the university's internationalization strategy, provide students with more platforms for exchange and study at prestigious overseas universities, and comprehensively enhance their international perspectives and overall competence, Shantou University is now offering summer 2026 programs at prestigious overseas universities including University College London (UK), the London School of Economics and Political Science (UK), and the University of British Columbia (Canada). These programs are delivered by third-party providers. Details are as follows:

I. Information Session

II. Eligibility Requirements

1. Applicants must love their motherland, have excellent academic and moral standing, and possess no disciplinary or violation records.

2. Currently enrolled students at Shantou University, all majors welcome.

3. Applicants must have good English listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, and be able to follow courses taught in English (specific programs may have additional English proficiency requirements).

4. Applicants must be in good physical and mental health and present a positive attitude.

5. Applicants must be able to comply with the relevant regulations and requirements of Shantou University and the program organizers, and consciously uphold the image of the country and the university.

III. Application Process

1. Please review the program details in the attachment and select the program you wish to apply for.

2. Procedure: On-campus application → Faculty review → University review → Application to program provider → Admission by host university → Completion of on-campus procedures for overseas travel.

3. On-Campus Application Method: Please complete the on-campus application before April 30 by logging onto the International Office website (https://icd.stu.edu.cn/studentVisitDetail.aspx?theNo=438) and uploading your academic transcript and proof of English proficiency as attachments on the application page.

4. Program Provider Application: After completing the on-campus application, please scan the QR code to apply for the specific program.
