Forwarding of the Notice on the 2026 Internship Cooperation Project between China Scholarship Council and Relevant International Organizations (First Batch)
Pursuant to the cooperation agreements between the China Scholarship Council (hereinafter referred to as “CSC”) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), the United Nations University (UNU), the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the International Organization for Migration (IOM), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the World Food Programme (WFP), the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT), and the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), CSC will continue to select outstanding young talents for internships with the above-mentioned organizations in 2026. The notice is hereby forwarded as follows:

IV. Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the basic requirements set out in the CSC Selection Guidelines for Study Abroad Funded by China Scholarship Council and the 2026 Guidelines for International Organization Internship Program, and possess a strong willingness and professional aspiration to work for international organizations.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and not older than 30 years of age (born after January 1, 1995, unless otherwise specified for specific positions).
Applicants must have a good command of a foreign language, with proficiency in English. Priority will be given to those who are also proficient in other languages used by international organizations. Requirements vary slightly by position; please refer to the job specifications.
At the time of application, applicants must be domestic or overseas master’s or doctoral students expected to graduate in 2026 (once admitted, the internship must commence within one year of graduation). Overseas applicants do not include those who have already returned to China after graduation.
Applicants must meet other requirements specific to each position, such as academic background, as detailed in the job specifications.
V. Application Procedures
Current students who have already secured an internship offer letter from an international organization on their own are requested to, after obtaining consent from their respective faculty/department, send the following information to the International Office via email at wscicd@stu.edu.au before April 10: name, faculty/department, year of study, offer letter, host organization, and internship start and end dates.
Applicants must log on to the CSC Study Abroad Management Information Platform between 00:00 on April 10, 2026 and 14:00 on April 21, 2026 (Beijing time), complete the online application in accordance with the Application Materials and Instructions and the Online Registration Guide, and upload the required documents in the prescribed format as prompted by the system.
Applicants must submit a complete set of application materials (see https://www.csc.edu.cn/article/4076 for the required documents and instructions) to the Office of International Exchange and Cooperation before April 22. The university will then submit the official recommendation letter to the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education before April 27.
Between May and June 2026, CSC will organize written examinations and interviews to assess applicants and, after selecting candidates, will recommend them to the relevant international organizations. The organizations will then review the recommended candidates and confirm the final admission list and job placements. Based on the feedback from the organizations, CSC will finalize the funding list and admission results in July 2026.
