On March 24, a visiting delegation from Puning Chaoshi Experimental High School visited the School of Engineering at Shantou University. The delegation was led by Yang Hankui, Vice Principal of the high school. Lu Zhuobin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Engineering, Zhu Guang, Director of the Administrative Office, Lin Zhanqiao, Deputy Secretary of the Youth League Committee, and Xiao Yingjie, teacher in charge of student enrollment, held a discussion and exchange with the visiting group.

During the meeting, the two sides conducted in-depth discussions on student exchanges, lecture arrangements, science popularization cooperation and other matters. Lu Zhuobin introduced the development history, campus environment, student cultivation and international education of Shantou University and its School of Engineering. He also shared the university’s educational characteristics, disciplinary strengths and talent development philosophy, laying a foundation for future cooperation.

The two sides explored an integrated education and training model connecting primary, secondary and tertiary education, aiming to link the science popularization and training systems of basic education and higher education, and achieve complementary educational resources.

The School will provide the high school with comprehensive consulting services including admission policies, major offerings and application guidelines. Vice Principal Yang Hankui expressed his hope that the two sides would strengthen collaboration to jointly advance university enrollment and talent development.

This exchange has built an efficient communication bridge between the School of Engineering, Shantou University and Puning Chaoshi Experimental High School, and clarified multi-field and in-depth directions for cooperation. In the future, the two sides will further enhance communication and coordination, deepen resource sharing and achieve mutual complementarity of strengths.
