Recently, the Community Committee of Jicheng Community, Dahua Sub-district, Jinping District, Shantou City was filled with vitality and warmth. The "Building Physique, Enlightening Wisdom, Walking with Childlike Hearts" Sports Development Volunteer Service Activity, co-hosted by the Communist Youth League Committee of the School of Engineering, Shantou University and the Communist Youth League Working Committee of Dahua Sub-district, came to a successful conclusion. Integrating fun sports with growth empowerment, the activity allowed children to enjoy the joy of sports in running and jumping and gain a unique growth experience through cooperation and interaction, injecting vibrant youthful energy into the community in winter.

In the safety promotion session, volunteers explained the activity safety norms to the children in a vivid and easy-to-understand way, and emphasized "safety first, competition second" repeatedly. The children listened attentively and kept the safety rules in mind, laying a solid safety foundation for the entire activity.

At the beginning of the kangaroo hop, the children were a little reserved and cautiously explored the rhythm. As the activity proceeded, they gradually developed a tacit understanding, and their relay cooperation became more and more smooth. The sports spirits of striving for progress, never giving up, unity and cooperation, and surpassing oneself were deeply embodied in every jump and relay, fully demonstrating the children's high-spirited mental outlook and solid team cooperation skills.

The dodgeball competition ignited the competitive atmosphere of sports on site. The throwers aimed at the targets and threw the balls resolutely, while the dodgers evaded flexibly and skillfully. Cheers and shouts from the children resounded continuously. The dodgeball session cleverly integrated the competitiveness of sports with the cohesion of team cooperation, fully showing the unique charm of sports competition.

The sandbag throwing session gathered all the joy of the activity. With a steady stance, strength gathering, arm swinging and release, a beautiful parabolic trajectory was fixed. All eyes on site were focused on every throwing moment. Volunteers concentrated on capturing the wonderful moments of the children striving for their best.

In this activity, volunteers served as the most solid backing. They stayed by the children's side at all times, explained the rules patiently, reminded them of safety carefully, and escorted the children's joyful play with professionalism and enthusiasm.

Sports are the most touching background of childhood. This "Building Physique, Enlightening Wisdom, Walking with Childlike Hearts" Sports Development Volunteer Service Activity not only allowed community children to release their vitality and gain growth through sports in an entertaining and educational way, but also let the beauty of sports permeate more childhoods and the warmth of the community be passed on continuously. The person in charge of the activity stated that this activity took sports as a link to build a sound interactive bridge between the community, universities and teenagers. In the future, we will deepen the linkage and cooperation with the community, keep the warmth of mutual assistance and friendship passing on, and make sports a compulsory course in more children's childhood.
