Biography

Yibiao Rong, male, PhD, obtained his Doctor of Engineering degree from Soochow University in June 2020. He has been working as a Lecturer in the Department of Electronic Engineering, College of Engineering, Shantou University since September 2020.

His research focuses on medical image processing, pattern recognition, and machine learning. He has published more than 10 academic papers in top international journals and conferences, including IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics. He also serves as a peer reviewer for renowned journals such as IEEE Transactions on Medical Imaging, IEEE Journal of Biomedical and Health Informatics, IEEE Journal of Translational Engineering in Health and Medicine, and Biomedical Optics Express.
