Wei Chuliang

Dr. Wei Chuliang holds his Bachelor’s and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Liverpool, UK. He is a member of the Excellent Young Teachers Program of Guangdong Higher Education Institutions. He previously served as a researcher at the Intelligent Railway Research Centre, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

He has presided over and participated in more than 20 research projects, including National Key Research and Development Program of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China, Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Program, EU STREP Framework Programme, special projects for discipline and major construction of Guangdong higher education institutions, and Guangdong Quality Engineering Projects. He has published over 50 papers in international journals and conferences, applied for and been granted more than 10 invention patents, and won two Second Prizes of Guangdong Provincial Teaching Achievement Award.

His research interests include: intelligent information processing, intelligent perception, smart city, smart healthcare, power electronics.
