Cai Guoxian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Guangdong No.2 Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., Wu Shaoyong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection and Chairman of the Labor Union of the company, Wang Jianzhong, Member of the Party Committee, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of the company, Lu Zhuobin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Engineering, Shantou University, Zhang Guihua, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Zhang Kailiang, Person in Charge of the Communist Youth League Committee, Lin Zhanqiao, Deputy Secretary of the Communist Youth League Committee, as well as youth representatives from both sides attended the ceremony.
At the beginning of the event, leaders from both sides delivered speeches on the signing ceremony of league building cooperation. Cai Guoxian, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Guangdong No.2 Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., gave a detailed introduction to the company’s development history, business layout and talent training system, and put forward expectations for the future development of the league building cooperation. He stated that university-enterprise cooperation is an important way to achieve resource sharing and complementary advantages, and expressed hope that the two sides would take this signing as a starting point to deepen cooperation in talent cultivation, technical exchanges and scientific research, so as to achieve win-win results for both the university and the enterprise.
Lu Zhuobin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Engineering, noted that the shift from "Party building" to "league building" is not only an extension of working positions, but also a vivid practice of the working concept of "Party building leading league building". This league building cooperation is a concrete action to implement the national requirement of "integration of industry and education", as well as a new starting point for in-depth cooperation between the two sides in talent cultivation, scientific and technological innovation, employment services and other fields. He expressed hope that the two sides would build the cooperation platform into a highland for ideological guidance, a base for practical education, and a link for talent exchange, truly serving as an "accelerator" for the growth of young people from both the university and the enterprise.
Subsequently, the two sides held a discussion and exchanged views, clarifying cooperation directions in organizational construction, talent cultivation, internship and practice, employment services and other aspects. Lu Zhuobin, Secretary of the Party Committee of the College of Engineering, and Wu Shaoyong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Commission for Discipline Inspection and Chairman of the Labor Union of Guangdong No.2 Construction Engineering Co., Ltd., jointly inaugurated the League Building Cooperation Base.
After the signing ceremony, the participants visited the Honor Exhibition Hall of Guangdong No.2 Construction Engineering Co., Ltd.
