On April 19, the "AI Inspiration · Page Architecture" Pop-up Book Design Competition, part of the 2026 "Eaton Cup" Science and Technology Innovation Festival, was held at Lecture Hall One of the Sanpoushan Campus.
The competition brought together a total of 11 teams. Their creations were all based on the scenic views and cultural spirit of Shantou University. By blending cutting-edge technology with the art of pop-up books, the teams successfully transformed abstract ideas into tangible, three-dimensional works.
After an hour of on-site creation, all the teams completed their pieces. Judges Mr. Wang Tukun and Mr. Zhang Guibin provided detailed critiques for each entry. They highly affirmed the creative highlights of the works and offered professional suggestions for refinement, providing valuable guidance for the students' future improvements.
This competition has built a practical platform for campus creativity, integrating diverse elements such as craftsmanship, technology, and art. It offers students a pathway to translate concepts into physical entities, highlighting the value of practical education.
