On April 7, the Guangdong Higher Education Association released the list of finalists and proposed excellent award winners of the 6th National University Teaching Innovation Competition · Guangdong Sub‑Competition, also known as the Guangdong University Teaching Innovation Competition. Ji Jianyi, a teacher from the School of Engineering, Shantou University, received the Excellent Award in the New Teachers Track of the Emerging Engineering Intermediate & Below Group with his course Bridge Construction.
During the preparation period, the Department of Civil Engineering carried forward the fine tradition of mentoring and coaching, and set up a guidance team led by Professor Wu Ming. The team provided all-round guidance and repeated refinement for the competing course, helping young teachers improve their teaching capabilities. Teacher Ji Jianyi lived up to expectations and achieved an outstanding result with solid teaching skills and excellent on‑site performance.
This competition was guided by the Department of Education of Guangdong Province, hosted by the Guangdong Higher Education Association, and organized by Guangdong University of Technology. It aims to promote teaching innovation and the cultivation of top‑tier talents.
