Recently, the final of the Guangdong Division of the 3rd National College Students' Career Planning Competition (Student Group) concluded successfully. Ye Jingfeng, a 2025-level mechanical engineering postgraduate student from the School of Engineering of Shantou University, was awarded the **Bronze Award** in the Postgraduate Higher Education Track of the Employment Category with his clear career development path and solid professional literacy. This achievement not only fully demonstrates the positive mental outlook and excellent comprehensive abilities of the students in the School, but also marks an important breakthrough for the college in this provincial-level competition, injecting new momentum into the college's career education work. Since the launch of the National Career Planning Competition, the college has always regarded it as an important opportunity to guide students to establish career planning awareness and enhance career development capabilities. Upholding the competition philosophy of "Inspiring thinking through competition, empowering growth through competition, and building bridges via competition", the college has deeply integrated the organization of the competition with daily talent training. The college carefully organized the school-level selection competitions, extensively mobilized students to participate, and built a high-quality display platform; meanwhile, it coordinated resources, invited experienced professional teachers to form a review team, providing professional guidance for the contestants. The review team provided precise and personalized guidance to the contestants from multiple dimensions such as career positioning, plan optimization, and presentation skills, guiding them to base on their professional characteristics, closely align with industrial needs, continuously polish their competition works, and improve their comprehensive competitiveness.
