Electronic Information Engineering

Program Objectives:

The development of electronic information technology is a major driving force and bridge for economic globalization, as well as a leading force shaping the future of the economy, technology, and society. This program adopts an internationalized, refined OBE-CDIO engineering education model and the Ministry of Education's Excellent Engineer Program. It aims to cultivate T-shaped technical elites and leaders who possess a global vision, a strong sense of responsibility and dedication, the ability to design and innovate systematically, and the capacity to meet societal needs.


Program Features:

  • This program is a National First-Class Undergraduate Program. Basic Circuit Theory is a National First-Class Undergraduate offline course.

  • Supported by the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Digital Signal and Image Processing, which provides robust resources and ensures undergraduate students have access to laboratory facilities.

  • Featured courses include: Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Digital Image Processing, Theory and Applications of Intelligent Computing, Python and Data Science, Computer Control Technology, Embedded Systems and Applications, FPGA Based System Design, and more.

  • Over 50% of faculty members are returnees from overseas studies, and most have long-term industry collaboration experience.

  • Equipped with laboratories and instruments that meet advanced domestic standards.

  • Implements an internationally advanced engineering education model and hosts a National First-Level Discipline master's degree program.

  • Participates in the Ministry of Education's "Excellent Engineer Program," offering annual opportunities for study abroad, international student exchanges, and joint study programs with the University of Calgary (Canada) and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA).

  • Outstanding graduates may be recommended for admission to master's degree programs without taking the entrance examination.
