The Intelligent Manufacturing Engineering program was established in 2017 and began enrolling students in 2018.

Cross-Disciplinary Integration. The program fully implements the emerging engineering education concept, emphasizing the integration and innovation of multidisciplinary knowledge from computer science, electronics, communications, big data, and advanced manufacturing technologies, thereby enhancing problem-solving capabilities for complex systems.
Engineering-Oriented Professional Education. Focusing on core course clusters in knowledge engineering, dynamic sensing, autonomous decision-making, and advanced manufacturing, the program adopts project-based teaching. The entire curriculum plan and knowledge construction are guided by the full lifecycle implementation of engineering projects, resulting in deep integration between the course education system and the practical education system.
Systematic Program Development with Deep Integration of the Four Systems: Objectives, Curriculum, Practice, and Evaluation. The program has established an integrated EIP-CDIO-OBE training framework, a curriculum system, a practice system, and a process quality monitoring and evaluation system.
