报告摘要：Manufacturing is entering a new phase in which human well-being, inclusion, and social sustainability are central to industrial innovation. This seminar introduces human-centric principles within the Industry 5.0 paradigm and examines how engineering solutions can better integrate human capabilities into production systems. Through examples such as cognitive-load-aware workstations, inclusive assistance for neurodiverse operators, and AI-supported human–robot collaboration, the talk illustrates how adaptive technologies can empower diverse workers. Drawing on recent research and case studies, the seminar discusses emerging approaches that enable factories to evolve into sustainable, resilient, and socially responsible manufacturing ecosystems.

个人简历：Alessandro Simeone is Associate Professor of Sustainable and Intelligent Manufacturing at Politecnico di Torino, Italy. His research covers human-centric production systems, inclusive and AI-assisted assembly, sustainable manufacturing, and cyber-physical systems. He previously held academic positions at Shantou University (China) and Loughborough University (UK), and he has participated in numerous European, UK, and international research projects. A former CIRP Research Affiliate, he contributes actively to CIRP STCs in Assembly and Design and has published extensively in manufacturing and sustainability. He also serves in internationalisation and research-quality roles within his department and collaborates widely across Europe and Asia.
