On June 13, Heng Gu, party secretary and director of Guangdong medical device research institute, led a team to visit the department of biomedical engineering of Shantou University. Qiang Fang, dean of biomedical engineering department of Shantou University, Rundian Li, deputy director of scientific research department and Shuilong Shen, dean of college of engineering received a group of provincial medical equipment institute.

At the exchange meeting, the two sides respectively introduced their respective research platform, talent team, characteristic research direction and other aspects, and discussed how to give full play to their respective advantages and carry out in-depth cooperation in various fields. Finally, the two sides reached consensus on talent training introduction, r&d platform co-construction and scientific research cooperation, and the next step will be to sign a cooperation framework agreement to jointly implement the cooperation intention.
