The new semester's Forum on medical innovation begins!
Since prehistoric times, our understanding of Urology has expanded rapidly. Primitive urologists used urine as a therapeutic substance. Modern urologists have been able to remove kidneys remotely by driving robotic arms with 720 degrees of motion. Urology has undergone tremendous changes in the past 100 years. Urology diagnosis and treatment technology has also developed rapidly and rapidly, from the traditional general practice. Surgery has rapidly entered a new era of minimally invasive surgery.
This week, our Department invited Lin Fuxiang, the chief urologist, to give a report.
Urological technology: where will we be in 20 years’ time?”
Here, we not only review the evolution of minimally invasive urology, but also provide insights into the potential state of Urology in the next 20 years, as well as analysis and evaluation of imaging, diagnosis, robotics and further technological developments. Special emphasis was placed on the promising areas of minimally invasive technology, nanotechnology and biomedical engineering, which are likely to be the key to the new era of urology.
The Introduction of Lecture:
Lin Fuxiang, a 2007 graduate of the Medical College of our university, has hosted the PSBH Project of the Dreyfus Health Foundation of the United States, the Innovation Experiment Project for College Students in Guangdong Province, and the National Innovation Training Program for College Students. In 2014, it was awarded as the backbone of outstanding graduate students by Guangdong People's Hospital (Guangdong Academy of Medical Sciences).
After graduation, he worked in the Third People's Hospital of Huizhou and Huizhou Medical Vocational and Technical College, engaged in clinical teaching and scientific research, presided over and participated in many subjects at all levels. He took the lead in designing and developing virtual reality classroom teaching in China and published more than 20 academic papers, including 2 SCI papers, 1 invention patent and 1 software copyright. Item.
Lin Fuxiang is currently the chief physician of Urology in Foshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a lecturer in Colleges and universities, a member of the Oncology Society of Guangdong Urogenital and Reproductive Society, and the editor of Research & Reviews: Journal of Pharmacology and Toxicological Studies.
He has directed students to participate in academic activities in Guangdong Province and won the first prize and the third prize in the 14th Guangdong Challenge Cup Extracurricular Academic Works Competition for College Students; the silver prize and the bronze prize in the 2018 Challenge Cup Chuang Youth Guangdong College Students Entrepreneurship Competition; and the third "Challenge Cup-Rainbow Life" Guangdong Vocational Competition. There are three second prizes in the Innovation and Effectiveness Entrepreneurship Competition of Institutions of Higher Learning.
