Bio

Jiayong Yan joined the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Shantou University as a part-time faculty in March 2024. He obtained his Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in June 2004. His research interests include medical signal and image processing, intelligent medical instruments. He has published more than 40 academic papers, including more than 20 SCI and EI-papers. The journals include Medical PhysicsIEEE Access, Mathematical Biosciences and EngineeringOptics Communications, etc. He has obtained 5 authorized invention patents. In the past five years, as the he was responsible for one sub-project of the national key R & D plan and four horizontal projects, with a total fund of about 1 million yuan.
